Join us on Sunday, April 23, 2006 as the Gerard Dewan Memorial Fund teams up with West on Centre (www.westoncentreboston.com) and Birthday Wishes, Inc. (www.birthdaywishes.org) to celebrate Gerard’s life and raise money for a fantastic cause!

As many of you know, Gerard would have turned 40 on April 16, 2006. In his honor, we are hosting a fundraiser on Sunday, April 23rd, from 2-4 at West on Centre, 1732 Centre Street (a few doors up from Holy Name rotary) in West Roxbury. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Birthday Wishes, Inc. in Gerard’s memory.

Birthday Wishes, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 to provide birthday parties for children living in shelters throughout the Greater Boston area. The organization currently provides parties for approximately 400 children at 17 shelters and its goal is to continue to expand to additional shelters throughout Massachusetts. Given the child-centered mission of Gerard’s Memorial Fund, we feel it appropriate on his birthday to help raise money and awareness for such a wonderful organization.

The suggested door donation is $15.00 per adult and $5.00 for children over age 2 (maximum $10.00 for multiple siblings). Appetizers and entertainment for children will be provided by the Fund.
